Two Years of Unveil Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery: Our Journey So Far
In May 2023, we first shared the news that Unveil Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery was preparing to open its doors in Ivanhoe East. Two years on, Unveil has grown into a dedicated centre for both aesthetics and plastic surgery in Melbourne.
Unveil was founded by Specialist Plastic Surgeon Dr Rodrigo Teixeira, with a vision to focus on medical expertise and build lasting trust through compassionate, evidence-based care that supports each patient in making informed and confident choices.
Our philosophy remains the same: every person is unique, with their own anatomy, heritage, identity, and values. At Unveil, care is always tailored to reflect these differences and delivered with compassion.
What We Do at Unveil
Unveil Aesthetics – Advanced Skin Clinic in Ivanhoe East
Unveil Aesthetics provides a range of non-surgical treatments in a medical setting, including:
- Skin consultation & clinical photographic analysis
- Facials, microneedling, LED light therapy, and professional skin peels
- Excel V+ laser, laser genesis, BTL Exion and EMFACE energy based devices
- Prescription-only non-surgical treatments that are discussed during a consultation
These services are offered with consultation and clinical oversight to ensure suitability, safety, and optimal outcomes.

Dr Rodrigo Teixeira, MD, FRACS, is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon based in Melbourne, Australia, at Unveil Plastic Surgery in East Ivanhoe Village.
Dr Teixeira has extensive experience in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, with a clinical focus on procedures such as facelift (meloplasty), blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). Internationally, he holds memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and is part of the faculty of the Anatomy for Injectors Course (afi) and the Mendelson Advanced Facial Anatomy Course (MAFAC).
