We may collect personal and/or health-related (sensitive) information when you:

  • make an enquiry or contact us;
  • book or attend an appointment;
  • subscribe to our mailing list or newsletter;

  • make payments for services or products we provide.
The types of information we may collect include (but are not limited to):

  • your date of birth, Medicare number (if relevant), referral details, referring general practitioner (GP);
  • details of your enquiry, consultation, surgical or aesthetic treatment, medical history, health status, images (clinical photographs), identification information;

  • technical/usage information automatically collected when you visit our website such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, time spent on the site, referring website, cookies/analytics data.
We collect personal information:
  • directly from you when you provide it (for example via enquiry forms, appointment forms, clinical intake forms);
  • automatically via website analytics and cookies;
  • sometimes from third parties such as your referring doctor or other health providers (with your consent or as permitted by law).

  • we may disclose information overseas (that is, stored or processed outside Australia) where our service providers are located overseas, in such cases we will take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information remains protected consistent with the APPs.

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal and health information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our security measures include physical, electronic and managerial procedures. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed 100% secure.
We will retain your personal and health information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law (including health record retention obligations). Once it is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it in a secure manner.

10. Appointment Confirmations and SMS Notifications
We use SMS (text messaging) to confirm appointments, send reminders, and communicate important updates related to your bookings or treatment.
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from our clinic for these purposes. Messages may include:
  • Appointment confirmations, changes, or cancellations
  • Pre- or post-treatment instructions
  • Follow-up or feedback requests
We do not use SMS for marketing purposes unless you have expressly consented. Standard message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out of receiving SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to our messages or contacting us directly.
Your mobile number and message data are stored securely and used only in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Where lawful and practicable, you may interact with us anonymously or using a pseudonym. However, because of the health-care context (treatment, surgery etc) it may not always be possible or safe to do so, for example for Medicare/insurance purposes or clinical care requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal obligations or services. The updated policy will be posted on our website and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
